Are you using this link? https://worker.mturk.com/hitScraper There is a 'search by' off to the right hand side. Put it on 'reward'.
There's a box that says 'Min Reward' on the left. You can adjust that to whatever you want. EDIT: Unless you meant something else...
I'm glad I remembered this morning to backup my HIT Database. What would someone do if they didn't back it up. This new site is like turking with one hand tied behind your back. Lots of sites go through changes, and they usually are for the worse. Can't wait till HIT Database is ready. I can't turk without it:
Thanks. I set it once a couple of years ago and then forgot how it worked. The older I get, the more dumbass days I have...
Guess I'm going to have to use HIT Scraper, as TM doesn't seem to work right with the new site. It's annoying because I was always fine using TM and manually browsing as well and know I'll have to get used to something else. Hopefully this gets better, as I make good money on MTurk and don't want that to be dwindled by this shit. To those who are using HIT Scraper what are the optimal settings you guys have found? So far I have set the Delay to 5 Seconds, To Scrape 1 Page, Min Reward of 0.10 and a few other things. Any tips on how to get the most out of it?
I didn't back mine up. I don't think I've done it for a couple of weeks. So it's going to be like starting over for me. Turking blind. What I can't understand is why they made the site so much less functional. Why would anybody think that was a good idea? Also why did they change so much about the way it looks and move things around for no good reason? May have to go pour myself a drink.
At least we have the weekend to try to work out at least the basics. I never make much then anyhow. btw, the new scroll-to-workspace script seems to be working perfectly. One down. But yeah, I think it is screw-this-where's-the-alcohol time.
Yikes. I believe there is a file somewhere in your browser folder on hard drive where it stores the information, but I could never get it to extract anything. I just output in .csv and import back in whenever I did a fresh install. Hopefully you can get that information back
Someone needs to make a script to format the new site to look and function like the old site as much as possible.
Does anybody know how to get it to extract that info, for those of us who didn't have the sense to output it?
Hopefully they fixed the issue where you submit the HIT, it says your HIT was submitted to "X" and ten minutes later you realize that HIT is still in your HITs assigned to you. I've lost at least $20 because of this during the past year. Or am I the only one who has had this problem before? I never see it mentioned even when I'm lurking. Are there still exceed maximum request errors? (Or as frequent, I should say)
There is still a preview and accept option but it isn't set up the same as before. There's got to be a way to force default new hits first too some sort of script that constantly resets it or something.
I pity the poor requesters tonight. I imagine they are getting some quality work when everyone's attention is split between fighting the interface and actual work.
I think they were related somehow, because it seemed to happen when I was running a lot of things. I eventually got into the habit a few months ago of clicking HITs assigned to me after every single time I submitted something. Got burnt too many times.
