    Chrome

I've downloaded a couple other ones that I got from here but I don't see any benefit, speed related or otherwise to use them.

I'm not an "Apple" user myself. I actually use Windows 7, but am now upgrading to Windows 8 this week. If your a Windows user, Chrome is far from the fastest browser. Actually last on the list for Windows Users. Your hypothesis is backwards. Google Chrome is the fastest browser for "Apple" users my friend. ;)

I now use linux mint for my OS and turk with firefox on it(Computer runs 2x as fast at least over windows and it is free). I also run chrome for using ARP(AutoRefreshPlus) as firefox doesn't have any page monitors that I like using over ARP. Makes for a nice fast setup.

Are you on dsl / wireless? If so, which router do you use? I'm looking at up grading to the 802.11b/g/n. I believe that's the fastest of the fastest. Even though most routers from what I've read should be faster then most internet connections. My internet is lightning fast though.
