    Hi,

I am considering posting some hits involving to a person visiting a page and entering a string of text. Then, they must post the result of this text on the mturk submission page.

This does NOT involve email addresses or other personal info. Just keywords. Do you think it is allowed?

Like searching a set of keywords and pasting the results back on mturk? If it's something along those lines, it would be fine as long as that's it and doesn't involve an action that attempts to manipulate search ranking.

However, if it's something like, search for this string on Google, click the page titled "Whatever", and copy something from that page back into the HIT, that would violate their prohibition against search engine manipulation since the search+click influences page ranking.

There are many hits which do not have any instruction at mturk, rather they ask you to visit some URL and read the instructions and answer the hit. They too are violating Amazon TOS.

    Ergo,

It would involve searching for a keyword in the google keyword finder and clicking search. Then pasting the results back to me for further analysis by me. I think this would be okay.

    :)
