This requester has given me worst experience in Mturk. When I started the batch hits, I done his hits and then he again posted more. Meanwhile I have sent him a mail, pointing some errors in the hits. Then he withdrawn hits and reposted it with the suggestions. So there are some repeats. When the requester approved the hits, he rejected all repeats. Mine around 36 rejected. A great blow for me. I was inching towards 98 level of accuracy. Again back to 97. We have to pay the price for his error. Requester can't even pay .02 cents for his mistakes. It is the greatest setback as far as the turking history of mine is considered. During my turking carrer, I once pointed an error in the hit to a requester, and he given me a bonus. So now I come to term with bad aspect of requester also.
Luckily, I had done only 2 of his HITs and both were rejected after 1 week. He gave a reason "duplicate" in the feedback section. By the 1 weeks time, I completely forgot what was the HIT and let it pass as 2 rejections wasn't much of a big deal. But for you, I think you should contact the requester once again and tell him how this has adversely affected your stats.
The requester finally replied. This is what I got: Hopefully, he'll unreject everyone soon. *fingers crossed*
normally majority of requesters same like us. They don't know what to do in Mturk system. One req Mparsi told me that he some how pressed the reject button while uploading the hits. He contacted mturk and asked them what to do?. We the turkers are last one who suffers.
Yes. Now he is turning out to be a nice and caring requesters. All my 36 hits accepted. Reversed rejection. The only small thing still annoys me is the lack of communication. Thank you for the requester.
