I'm sure not turking for grins. I do it to supplement the astronomical sum of $740.00 per month that I receive from SS. Oh, wait, my medicare gets deducted from that so I get less than $600 per month. I am living high on "your" money.

I'm glad someone is. You would've been living much higher on your own money if you were free to invest the money you paid into SS on the stock market. SS is invested in treasuries, barely beats inflation. The stock market has returned much more over the long run.
I didn't think I'd give a crap about SS when the time came. Assumed that owning my own successful business since I was 26 and investing regularly would cover me well. Unfortunately caca pasa. Sometimes clients file bankruptcy and their vendors take it up the tailpipe. Sometimes you borrow a lot of money to land a big client, then they decide to take your ideas, do things themselves and also stick it in and break it off. It's tough keeping a small business going for over 30 years and at some point you get down to the felt. So SS is gonna be necessary...sigh...Okay Bear Psychiatrist, send me the bill.
Well, I got the credit both kids, but i don't understand why I'm not getting the $1k overflow both. I definitely am within the income range to receive the highest credit back. Man, now I'm irritated again
I will not be getting anything back, I will owe stacks as usual....ahhh the joy! Same ole **** just a different year! I work my ass off doing whatever to make whatever to live but then, well you all know the rest! Monica be glad your getting money back! And dont take that the wrong way plz, I dont mean it in a bad way
That is absolutely true, however the problem is that most people either can't or won't invest the money. In my case I did but as business problems arose, I had to use the money. In the end all of the people that don't save will either end up barely scraping by or destitute and need public help anyway.
Stormy(my dog) must have heard me bitchin about taxes lol! She comes in and gives dad a big bearhug lol.
Actually you are assuming most people are smart LOL they arent. Take the stupidest person you know and then quadruple it.
