The first two weeks I was barely making 5 bucks a day. I was looking for surveys, but I spent more time searching for stuff than actually working on them. I have been Turking for 6 weeks, and when since I have submitted more than 5000 HITs I've noticed I am making more money. The first two weeks, my goal was $10, after that it was $20. Some days I 'only' make $15 or even less. But the last week has been phenomenal to me (more than $50.00 a day) because of Matt Rubin. And always keep an eye out for Crowdsource. They are one of my favorite HITs.
I just don't understand how somebody can make that much money in one day off of MTURK. I did 8 hours today and have about 40 bucks and have about 10 hours tomorrow and if it's a good day, I will probably come out around 50 or so. What are we all doing wrong here?
the more you turk the more money you'll make, under 1000 you're not likely to make $100 a day but once you hit 1k, 5k, 10k,etc. you're gonna have more work available which means more money.
Most of the money that people have been making the last few days have been from one or two requesters. Theres no secret to making money. It's dependent on what hits are available. People haven't made nearly as much today because those requesters didn't post many hits..
i think a lot of that has something to do with closed/exclusive quals. or maybe even masters? idk! sucks though.. some of the closed quals doesnt give us new peeps a chance lol edit: not saying thats what u need to make $100 a day btw. really depends on what hits are up for the day
If that's your logic I should be rolling in the cash. I'm about to break the 200,000 mark. Trying to join the 1/4 million club by feb/march.
i've been turking the same amount of time each day since i started, which is all day long, and i was never consistently making more than $50/day until the monday after thanksgiving. the past six days have been between $120 and $260 which is unfortunately a fluke, as its 99.9% due to the rubin batches, so don't take anyone's stats in the past week as typical, unless they've been doing it without hitting up the rubins and without a master qual...
Did any of the old schoolers notice that late last night/ early this morning Ledger posted a bunch of hits? If not keep an eye out he pays a dollar a sentence if you have the qual. But if you dont have it you will never get it. I have not seen it posted in 2 years.
