I think they call them chicaroncitos. They are made of flour. A certain kind. I suggest you buy them and try them out. Tasty.
They start out in little tiny hard wagon wheel like things. You deep fry them and dip them in tapatio and lime (I use siracha and lemon b/c I'm lame). They're pretty good, kinda sweet. Serious, buy some next time you hear the bike horn going off in your neighborhood. They're worse than crack I swear! It's flour and something. I've also heard them called "wheat flour wagon wheels" I swear no one knows what these things are really called!
I seen em sold here as 'duros' or 'churritos' or some such. Kind of a similar puffy consistency as chicharrones, but not made from pork fat, but haven't seen them with that perfect wagon wheel shape. Decent.
Lol i've never seen anyone with a bike & food at the same time...I rarely even see schwan people anymore.. i've worked in retail/frozen foods before too Florida must be hiding them
Sriracha is never lame! I however will purchase some fancy Cholula sauce to put on these tasty fried snacks.
