    I dunno...I still have a 9 year old Toshiba laptop. Yes it's got barely any RAM compared to today's stuff but it works great!

    Late to the discussion but wanted to talk about Apple. I can't stand the company either. I don't have a mac or a macbook. But I do have an iPhone, iPod (for the kiddies) and an iPad. I tried for several years to find Android systems that were as good, and I hate to admit it, but when it comes to speed, apple has the smartphones and tablets in the bag. I so wanted the Galaxy III to be better but soon as all of our apps got loaded to it, the touchscreen started lagging like they always do. Have completely filled up the iPhone and iPad and they still load and run smoothly. I refuse to go Mac, for the same reason others said, they cost too damn much. Plus I've used Windows my entire life. I'm too old to have to learn something new. I freaked out when I upgraded to Windows 8 and had to go back to Windows 7. No way could I handle a mac LOL.
