The only time I have ever been in ATL was on a flight changeover when I was coming back from Russia after being there for a couple of months. Going through the little check point I said something that the security guy didn't like when he was asking me about my business, and I ended up getting interrogated by customs officials. One of them searched my suitcase which had one of those traditional Russian dolls in it with all of the dolls inside of dolls that I got for my mom. The guy opened 3 or 4 of them before he got pissed and gave up, so if you ever need to smuggle something very small into the country that's one idea.
