Nope. I tried for a while to learn, but its so much different than English that its really hard, or at least it was for me. At first it was kind of scary living in Moscow and not speaking a word of Russian, but after a while I viewed it as kind of a feature to not have to listen to anybody. It made for some awkward moments at check out counters though.
Same here. For a $1, I was willing to risk it. You know, if they've got such great records--they reported to me the exact minute I submitted it back in 2012--why can't they set a up an mturk worker ID check to make sure we haven't actually already completed this one. My record-keeping wasn't so great back in August, and don't remember anything I did from that time.
Lol, not trying to be mean, but it's kinda funny. I can totally picture u there, without speaking Russian, and trying to buy something... Some ppl don't speak any English, even though it's getting better these days, but back in the day it was tough to find someone who spoke English. I bet that was an awesome experience!
Good luck with that because there is a special thread for chatter and if you chatter in the hits threads you get in trouble. Also there are probably 10 or so posts a day in the hits threads.
