Im about to go into extreme money saving mode, and im seriously gonna stock up on some of these bad boys

 

Ramen noodles are so good for you.

 

I saw a lady on TV once who has been eating only ramen noodles her whole life. She really didnt look too bad. but then again she didnt look too great either.

 

Pork is easily the best flavor.

1.Pork
2.Oriental
3.Beef
4.Chicken

Of course there are other flavors like chili lime and roast beef but those can be harder to find.

 

do the cup noodles cost the same? I like those better

I like the Nissin brand better than the Maruchan :rolleyes: I eat it alot.

Chicken with some onions on top. Maybe a lil sriracha.

 

I'm a Maruchan man, Top Ramen seems oddly greasy in a way that really turns me off.

Nope they cost more, and in my opinion taste worse.

 

I like them because they actually have "stuff" in them

 

I've been doing ramen for dinner for about two and a half months. I did splurge on Sunday though, and bought some frozen pot pies. I got so sick of ramen that sometimes I would just rather go to sleep instead of eat more...so I did. I've lost weight though! So that's good...right? Right?!

At the Walmart here you can only buy chicken or beef. Back home they have sooooo many flavors. What gives?

Them lil' dried up "shrimps" and "veggies" are so gross.

 

I don't mind the taste of packaged ramen but it has way too much sodium for me. I think it's like 1800 mgs of sodium per whole block with the seasoning.

 

I'm not sure we can be friends anymore. Pork is easily one of the worst flavors for me. But it's better than shrimp. *shudder*

Oriental and beef all the way. Ramen was my life blood growing up. No joke, I had a teacher give me a giant box of ramen as a thank you for being a good helper after school cause she knew how much we ate it lol.

 

Yeah, man. Sodium noodles taste great, but I can't really have them anymore for that reason alone.

 

If you are referring to the slimy ness or some sh*t I swear they do that if you cook them too long. I go pretty al dente with them to avoid that. When the water boils I cook the ramen only long enough to separate it somehwat then take it out. pour most of the water out and mix a more concentrated broth then pour the broth on the noodles. haha as I write this im coming to the realization i eat too much ramen. hahaha

Agree, if you really need to you can spruce up ramen pretty good with your own veggies and meats.
