I am trying to come up with a way to contradict you but I can't.

*is severely disappoint* but good to know, I've walked past that at least 750 times and thought "nooooo, the kind I can make myself is cheaper"

what about this truffle mac and cheese nonsense? have you seen that?

Do you know the Colin Meloy cut? That's the one I was meaning, although there is no way to know or expect that.

I get that look if I ever talk about something I'm interested in. Every damn time. Even if I find someone that likes the same Golden Era Russian Lit that I do, before I know it I'm talking about the Crimean war and its repercussions, and using nouns like Sevastopol that I do not expect to be obscure and yet they are and even this new Friend of mine has their eyes glazing.

I decided that if everyone was going to give me That Look, the least I could do is help them earn it.

Nope, not sure what that is. The frozen stuff was definitely disappointing to me. First bite was confusion, second bite was horror.

We do, but it is far, far away. The mildly snotty grocery store I usually go to has it but it was like $6

sighs....Does it ever end? How am I supposed to know to ....play along with your games? I come here to ask simple questions and try to contribute. I really enjoy it here and the people but dang....I've never said anything out of the way to anyone here....but today everyone's been up my ass. I'm sorry. Why so quick to hurl insults? I don't understand. Not being a smart ass, just seriously asking....? I don't get it.

And no Artemisia. I'm not here to engage in a battle of wits with anyone. I come here to share and chat and try to enjoy myself but days like today, it's hard. Now please, everyone light up and please be in a better mood tomorrow? :)

A vendor at a festival here a few months back was selling chocolate covered bacon. I love bacon..and chocolate..but....I couldn't bring myself to try it. People said it was delicious though. I can't see ....how? LOL

We don't have the Mac, but if you PM me your address, I'll send you some truffle salt/oil (not cheese, because no). Everyone should have dat in their lives.

Quite. I apologise for my rudeness.

Some days, though, it's cranky around these parts. Not because any one person is bad, or because asking questions is bad - just, sometimes, it's cranky. You can take that personally if you want to, I guess, but for whatever it's worth I don't think anyone meant it that way.

(I lurked for a year before I spoke, so if I sound sure of these things...)

I was only ever kidding, man. Or woman. Whichever.

I know a lot of people have been out of sorts and that I have a well deserved reputation for ugliness in conversation, but I didn't think I was being particularly needling.

It's just, I have a good memory. And normally I know all sorts of things that aren't necessary, but I was actually being serious because I didn't know you, I was saying "Hello comrade please introduce yourself to me because I didn't meet you yet".

I apologize for giving offense. I thought I was being playful, obviously I was not.

and, to answer your question "does it ever end" I follow a fairly strict rule of not talking to people that don't talk to me. It's not a "last word" sort of thing, just, if I talk at you a couple times and try to start a conversation without calling you a mother[redact]er...I'm not gonna keep trying, I've got a whole internet to talk to, y'dig?

If you don't want me to talk to you, just don't respond to me. I remember these things, and very soon I'll stop talking at/about you at all, because I'll assume this is what you wish.

Doesn't seem like that far of a stretch. In a world of chicken mole, anything is possible.
