That's a problem with government interference in the market to begin with. No, it's not okay for corporations to behave in evil ways, but the only way they have the force and power to do so is by influencing the government. The blame needs to be laid at the feet of the entity creating the power disparity, not the one taking advantage of it. No, I have absolutely no hope that corporations won't exploit people given the force available to them through government intervention. It's natural and inevitable. When rnr released those video hits where you had to open like 30 youtube videos for 5 or 10 cents or whatever it was, no one did them and they were forced to change the price. If instead Amazon had disallowed all other requesters from posting anything at all, people WOULD do those HITs, because it's all they had. If there was then a minimum wage on mturk of $15 per hour, there would be absolutely nothing posted at all in that scenario. Also, I'm working for what, $4 an hour or maybe $5 and am glad to do it. I'm glad there's no minimum Turk wage or I'd be wracking up crazy student loan overdue payment debt instead of having a steady income.
It's not a bad thing for that one area where people are working for the money, but it is a very bad thing in the larger picture. This is just one area. If the minimum wage in that area rises, you can bet prices will increase. Not to mention that people will have lesser hours because employers will cut hours to compensate for the increase. ____________________________________ If Obama wants his ACA to work he and his legislative bodies will understand that for the program to work, the minimum wage will have to be raised - alot. Inflation slowed somehow and people put back to work to pay for this extravagance called healthcare which we really do need. But it has to be paid for and the money has to be there to pay for it. Price controls will have to be put on and wage controls will have to be lifted and minimum wage forced up whether corporations and their lobbyists like it or not. Why do you think people who own successful are running around now with their feather ruffled like mad chickens? They know what is coming if this is to work. Yet they would rather cry about what an evil man Obama is. Yes the government is in a mess but that is what happens when you put a group of people together such as this. Group think set in. It is inevitable.

I didn't get any good electronic deals from Walmart but I got some books! Harry Potter boxed set and Hunger Games trilogy boxed set for $6.53 grand total. Hope it goes thru and I will have officially started Christmas shopping!
yeah I was amazed Pandemic and King of Tokyo board games were 13 a piece. Already owned King of Tokyo though. Decided to not buy pandemic because I already bought so much Both are at amazing prices though.
