Hi dreamschocs, When you don't see the company or business name better crop the whole card. No worries for that. Also for the case of your score down, I wanted to know how you deal some special situations when you facing a oscar HIT. So ask me with doubts of certain things which I have not mentioned yet.
@ Caraw1 For the above case I will treat it like this Name :Dr. John Smith. M.D. M.S Title:Orthopedic Surgeon I will add the city name in the city field and will add the province / state in State field for Canadian Address. Very very happy to hear this dear writermom
Does that mean I should write "international' on the same line as the first line of the address, or should I start a new line for it and actually start typing the actual address on the second line?
for Oscar Smith should i Enter Country and County, if ? where do I Enter them, and if Business Name not listed should i extract it from Web address and/or search over internet or leave that field blank. please reply me with possible tips. thanks you all
thanks for valuable information please reply for this should i Enter Country and County, if ? where do I Enter them
If your score is only 91, this means you are making alot of errors as well. There's something you're not doing right. vijay1975 has a score of 96 so I would trust their advice. It's so hard to get 100. I wonder if anyone got 100.
Hi, My highest score in Oscar Smith HITs is 97 and most of the days my score range between 92 to 94. I also don't know whether any turker scored 99 or 100.
WOW nice! Well done! I want to get above 90 because I'm such a perfectionist. It drives me crazy not knowing what I'm doing wrong. lol. I don't care about the qualification. I just want to do it perfectly.
Concerning the Canada addresses, it's good to know that we don't have to write International in the first address field, but do we use the regular address fields, as we do for the US addresses? I hope so, because it would save a bit of time. Thanks, Riaz. Edit: Just saw the answer a few posts back.
Hi Flora, Thank you. You can go through this thread to get lot of useful information to improve your score. Also you can post your doubt in this thread so that if I am able to clear your doubt I will do so.
I followed the advice of another forum member and started putting upper case wherever the card had upper case letters----- my score plummeted from 88 to 75 overnight, the lowest it's ever been. This is one of the two remaining issues for me to get a final clarification for. The other issue I have a question about is, do we always type a web mail address as "www.address.com", or do we write it as written, as in the case of no "www" or one that begins with "http"? Getting the final ruling on those two things would be a great help to me. It's going to take a hundred cards for me to get my score back up. Why in the world would Oscar prefer to take the time to answer individual emails instead of just putting up a page with all the rules?
I agree, his instructions are too vague on the page. I never know which one to do, caps or not. www or not? Which fields to put international addresses on? What exactly to crop? Many many little things that count and I don't know them all perfectly. I only listen to what Oscar responds to someone's email. He said if there's 'Arizona', type as it is, if it's 'AZ', type as it is. Anything else is vague. Everyone has different answers to all of them which is aggravating. My highest score was 90 and right now it dropped to 83. I don't get it.
Hi, The general rule is type the card as it is. i.e. type in capital if it is capital and in small case if it is small case. Like wise for website if it is given as "www" type "www" if it is "http://www" type as "http://www" if it is just website name type only the website name.
I'm going to ask Oscar about that. In the last few days, the only change I've made when I fill out the form is to put all capitalized words as capitalized in the form fields. My score fell through the floor. Has anyone gotten a direct answer from Oscar concerning this issue?
