    From what I read here on his answers to some of the worker's emails said that he wants it copied as you see it. So I imagine this means, caps = caps, no caps = no caps.

    It could be that your errors are elsewhere as there are so many things we may overlook or not know.

    Hi,

    The following are the replies I had received from Oscar Smith for my queries:

    ============================
    Hello,

    Thank you for your email.

    If there are multiple addresses, please enter only the first address and phone numbers associated with the address you enter.

    If you come across foreign language cards, please write "foreign language card" in the name field and if there are some other images instead of a card, then please enter "not a business card" in the name field and submit the hit instead of returning the same.

    As mentioned earlier, it is always good to mention "incomplete" in those fields where the information is not completely given or "unreadable" wherever you see that information blurry. If you do so, you can always maintain a good quality score. Returning hits reduces your quality score.

    If any information is in capital letters, it needs to be typed in capital letters only. Please do not ignore any information that is shown in the card. Also please be advised that returning HITs does affect your quality score.

    For foreign addresses, please write the city, state and zip code in the respective fields only.

    If any information is provided in capital letters, please write them in capital letters only.

    If the suite number is in given in the same line, please write the same in the same line else in a different line as given on the card.

    if there is more than one address and one name, then please pick the one from the left side or the first one from the card.

    ===========================

    Thank you, that's helpful. I already know most of it. The only thing is the international part I don't understand. "For foreign addresses, please write the city, state and zip code in the respective fields only." Foreign addresses do not have "state" so I'm sure... also ... if the card is written in foreign language, do not do it? I've seen stuff like, "directeur" for director. Do I ignore that? Just put down "foreign language card" and submit?

    I think I'm doing fine as long as it's not international. That's always hard to get perfect not knowing what exactly to do. I read on another post to put down 'international' before starting the address but here, oscar doesn't mention it...

    I hadn't been typing "unreadable" into each box for that particular information. I had just been leaving that box blank. It's good to know and I will start doing it. I'm not sure what put "For foreign addresses, please write the city, state and zip code in the respective fields only." means. Does that mean we have to try to figure out the foreign equivalent to a state or zip code for each foreign address? Some foreign addresses look pretty strange even if it's all written in English.

    Noticed she didn't capitalize the title even though the title in the card is capitalized...not sure if that's correct or not. Her score is 91...

    "For foreign addresses, please write the city, state and zip code in the respective fields only."

    Hi,

    In one of the replies to Riaz, Oscar Smith had specifically adivised to put "International" in the first line for the foreign addresses and the query is available in the first page of this thread.

    I think a big part of it is doing a lot of his hits at one time. I did seventy of his hits yesterday and my score went from 88 to 92. This is the first time I've been above 90. It's jumped a lot in the past few days with doing a lot of hits each day. This is something I've noticed, I think the more you do in one day, the better chance you have of having a higher score the next day.

    I have a question. One of the cards I did yesterday actually had a typo on the card. The woman's title said, "General Manger" so that is what I typed. My score went down one point, which may or may not have been because of this. Should I have put (sic) next to it, indicating that was as it was written?

    Also, I'm curious about this project and the purpose of what we are doing...is it some big, gigantic card catalog of business cards? I love the data entry and enjoy doing these hits, but just wondered if they are visually scored by looking at the sample we typed from, or just from what we typed. Thanks for any input.

    I know. I try to be so careful and I am very detailed oriented, having worked in law enforcement where everything had to be letter perfect.

    I did read over this entire thread, though, and made a "cheat sheet" for Oscar hits, so I do think I probably inadvertently entered something wrong, after looking over all the hints here. Well, that's what learning is all about. :)

    I did notice he had a ton listed this morning and then nothing all day. I hope he's okay.

    Do you have any idea what this project is about? Thanks for your time in answering.

    Do you not understand how to read instructions? Why do you guys constantly bother requesters with questions that have already been answered in the instructions?
