What happens is, people go "ZOMG did you see what they said on *that other forum*" and then everyone runs to check it out. So yeah, I imagine everytime this thread gets bumped TN gets a new member or two, if only out of curiosity.
I went just to copy and paste my "banned your IP address" message this morning. I wonder if that counts? And this is for the TN'rs that know who I am and hate me. I have an account at TN as you're reading this. I don't go since it's from my phone's IP and it sucks reading that forum from my phone,but I do like sticking it to someone that thinks they're so stinkin smart and important. It's petty but it amuses me.
I went because I was curious, reading about them here in this forum. I didn't stick around after I saw the goods though. I knew I wouldn't be able to say what I really felt when something pissed me off so I left. At least here I can get it off my chest and everyone moves on (and most don't give two shits).
Lulz no prob. Only difference between there and here is I would imagine a large majority of the people that check THEM out don't come back or stick around, whereas this forum they do.
Gee, well I still have an active account there so now I am curious. LOL As for keeping my mouth shut over there it doesn't happen with me. I still say what I feel no matter what I guess I just have a way of saying it with a little bit of couth. As for some that have been banned from there who I now see complaining on here.... well.... let's just say (for some) there are always two sides to a story.
I asked to be banned after another poster was unfairly banned. I cracked up when the page said the ban would be lifted "NEVER!" hahahahahaahaa
lmfao! Now that is hilarious. I am sure there may be a time when I go too far too and I will be banned eventually but that is not going to stop me from speaking my mind. However, I do understand the rules that are put into effect and why they are there. Some have been banned because they did not take the time to pay attention to the rules and so they think it is unfair because they don't know the rules. But yes there have also been some that have been banned just because the admin over there has an ego that needs to be fed from time to time too.
I haven't logged in for weeks. Don't post. Was just something I tried after I told them to KMA on my way out the door. I don't care who posts there, you know? Just don't get why they've got to have all the mystery and crap. It's not that fantastic. Nice enough people for the most part. Not saying anything against (most) members. I'm glad I spent a few weeks over there. Completely reminded me why I don't like chats and "free for all" forums. I don't want to read about someone's dog. I Really Don't. I have my own life I'm living. And no, no one is forcing me to read any of that crap. But I had to find something to talk about for 100+ posts that didn't break any rules. Personal stuff slips through cracks in here. Fine. I'm a big offender of it. But I'm not saying anyone has to care. I'm not talking about it constantly. Tonight I found that somewhere wayyyy back I got graded low for something. Didn't say a peep because it seems like all I been doing is bitchin. So I went and graded cheaters fek em. It's their fault there's 15 steps to crap. One was a cheater, one was misinformed, the others tried...so I left their stuff alone. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. TN. Account over there. Meh. To each their own. I like it here.
I told them to delete me several weeks ago. Have no desire to find out if they did or didn't. There is NOTHING over there that would interested me except maybe if they were giving out gold monkey nuts. Like Whimsey, I could care less who's dog farted and other such rot. I'm usually not very vocal, I don't talk unless I have a question to ask or if someone has asked for help.
If I wanted to spend time learning an elaborate set of rules, I would spend my time playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Yep to each their own. I'm starting to like it over here too. However, I do have to say that 6 months ago there wasn't much at all to this forum so hopefully it will continue for the better.
According to Alexa.com, our traffic rating is now higher than turkernation's. While this may fluctuate a bit (and we may drop behind them again) we are seeing substantially higher traffic this month relative to prev months. Thank you all for fostering openness.
That's pretty funny actually. In most forums, trolls get banned. At TN, you basically have to politely troll in order to boost your count. You know how I know that nobody give a shit about useless posts? Check the responses, and you'll notice that nobody ever reads through the thread, they simply post an answer to the original post as if it were a poll. I don't mind giving out advice or opinion, but I hate having to flap my fingerlips for no reason.
I don't think I'll go back there. This is what just happened to me: I'm new there, so as everyone knows, I don't have access to the inner sanctum. However, an experienced, inner member asked a technical question in the public section and I answered it. The original poster actually 'thanked' me for it and someone else asked me an additional question. I answered and then went off to do some work. I came back a while later and discovered that the thread had been moved to the private part and my answers were no longer available to me. Me, the writer of the said answers. Nope, that is not going to float with me. It's absurd. So no, I don't care if TN likes me, is indifferent to me, banns me or gives me a door prize... It's just not acceptable behaviour on their part. But since it's their house, they make their own rules. I just don't have to go there. Here, however, yesterday, my FIRST day, I was able to act on tips generously provided by four members here, for a total of $4.61. I've drawn my own conclusions!
