So glad they canceled school today. The kids might have got slightly damp in this persistent light rain with absolutely no wind. I assume they made the decision by consulting lawyers instead of meteorologists. Hope everyone who is actually being affected by the hurricane is fine!
Yeah well it was $4. I just threw back that $1 privacy study after seeing all the checkmarks I would have to fill in. And most likely I was near the end but I just felt like it was too daunting and I'd be better off doing those 6 cent medical HITs.
I survived. Power stayed on the entire time really weird. Internet is down though so hopefully that comes back sometime.
Finally got power only to see it go out again 10 min later. 2 hours later it's back up. Hope it stays on. But no internet.
Just after I said that the internet came up! Going to cook a hot meal! I'm hungry. Didn't eat all day except for cookies. How's the weather by you? Is the worst over yet? I'm seeing that it's still going in GA and other states.
It's still just raining and windy. Kids are out again tomorrow, I don't know about me yet. You need to eat!

Came out ok, better than I anticipated. Was totally expecting flood because of a pond I have in my backyard but it didn't overflow at all. Went out for a bit and it looks like a mess out there. Branches and broken fences & trees. Some minor flooding here and there. Soo glad it's over with. Hope everyone else made out ok too.
