whenever a requester says, "And some lucky winners will get a large bonus" I never think it will be me, so this is cool. Nah, it's just raining and little windy and I have to work tomorrow. :dread: Wanted to stay home with my kids again

good and bad news. Down to 45 mph sustained winds, but slowed down to 16 mph. Slower it gets, more flooded roads.
Sounds good to me. Yeah I'm so over living in Florida. The stress of upcoming hurricanes is just not the way I want to live. When are you heading home? Better get out before you lose power!
I'm leaving tomorrow morning, around 8a.m... Love the mountainous scenery. It's been in the 60-70s temperature (and feels great). What a relief that's been! And the roads are so cool and undulating -- like a mini roller coaster when I ride around here. (weeee!) Visually it's all very interesting to me. But must return to the main fort (the frog pond, if you will)
So many craigslist personal ads to answer! No, actually just shopping and grabbing stuff to eat. Nothing special. Tangent: Condo prices around this area are just through the roof.
My phone was the only "electricity" I had all day. I tried not to use it too much in case my power was off for a long time. The news kept saying people will not have power for a week but most people got it back on the same day surprisingly. Some lost power yesterday through today.
I am guessing from this post that you are from FL. Glad to see that you are fine. I went to school in Athens, GA and loved it. Did not spend all that much time in Atlanta. It is really kind of a crap shoot as to where to live - if you want beach/warm weather, you need to deal with risk of either hurricanes or earthquakes (Cali). I guess there is Hawaii (but then a risk of a rare hurrucane/tsunami). Either tornadoes or bitter cold in many areas without those threats - I would love Seattle/Oregon (even with rain) but now that is in N. Korea crosshairs
