Its like those people who put their kids in front of Bison/Buffalo to have their photos taken. Gee, what do you think will happen?
Fun fact. "The Doctor" was the working title for this song. Oh, good morning.
daaaamn, CNN just showed a new poll that has Trump at 50%, Hillary at 45% and Undecided/other at 5%. The Orlando massacre is bringing more people over to Trump. Wasn't it determined that he was just a self hating gay guy and not Isis?
No hate to him, I have no idea who he is. I haven't posted on that forum since October 2013 when they started. I don't doubt that he's telling the truth about getting suspended. I just question that mturk has a clue as it why it happened. I assume they just gave him some BS answer to pacify him.
Self-hating gay guys don't shoot up innocent people enjoying a night out. Radicalized individuals do that.
he may be a self hating gay but he apparently did have some connections to muslim (extremests) The polls will help Trump now but its too far away from the Election to actually matter. If this happened around a week before the election that would be different
Easier to sell the fear of muslims than gays these days. I can only imagine the double negative sentiment this would've invoked during the Bush years. As for the polling, considering both of their unfavorability ratings and partisan support numbers are nearly identical it doesn't shock me this will be an incredibly tight election.
Weird. Every other poll says the opposite, including one on CNN.com http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/14/politics/poll-hillary-clinton-leads-donald-trump/
The white kid who was on his way to blow up the gay pride parade hasn't got any air time. If he were muslim he'd be on the cover of People next to the Orlando shooter. It's so hard to know what to believe, the news makes up shit as they go along to get ratings. Sometimes I think I'd get better info watching Spongebob.
Doesn't really matter both parties are basically the same now. The difference is how fast they want to take our rights away.
Plenty of non-radicalized people have shot up innocent people enjoying a night out. Just look at the theater shooter in Aurora, Co. But, yes, this guy's religion definitely played a role. The reason he was self-hating probably stemmed from his religious upbringing, and the idea of becoming a martyr through a suicide mission was likely influenced by Al Quada and Isis. But it's pretty clear that while religion was a factor, it wasn't the only factor.
Not everything is about race or religion. That incident got less attention because the attack was thwarted. No victims = less media attention.
Interesting to see Gary Johnson doing so well - at almost 10 points. Maybe the anti-Trump conservatives have found an alternative.
Don't forget that the news outlets looooooooooove to peddle whatever poll of the day happens to be counter to all the other ones or provides the most interesting "narrative". Like for example, just following mainstream media leading up to the election in 2012, you'd think for sure that Obama/Romney was a dead heat and would be decided by half a dozen hanging chads or something. But if you read a less "exciting" site like fivethirtyeight.com that considers all the data, you'd see Obama was never really behind or in any danger of losing at any point (I think they wound up going 50 for 50 in predicting the electoral vote that year).
A shame he's just getting coverage now. I gotta think upwards of 20-30% of Americans agree with his platform in almost every way, they just don't know it. Seeing him on the debate stage (15% min. in the polls I think is the requirement,) would be a really nice surprise in this election cycle.
Russia and Slovakia coming up at Euro 2016. Will be watching the stands as well as the pitch as Russia could be disqualified if there is more fan violence. Oops, wrong forum.
