Joy. Chrome updated again and put the interface back the way Google wants it to be, instead of how I want it to be. Is it even worth finding the option to fix it again? One day the option will just vanish anyhow. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
I posted my frustration this morning about this. I hate Chrome updates!! Took me time to get things the way I wanted it. What I really want to do is disable Chrome updates so I don't wake up to surprises. I did in Windows 7. But then when I upgraded to window 10, they enabled it. It's trickier to disable it now. Still haven't done it yet.
Some of it is minor but no big deal (smaller icons). Some is annoying (the animation and delay when I click on the icon for an extension, for one). But dammit I want that bar with the tabs at the top to be blue. It is set in windows to be blue. Do what I want, not what you want. Not similar to the color of the background of most web sites (this one included). Probably some way around that, I'll have to look later. I do this with all software. My windows 7 looks as close to Windows 95 as I can get it.
