Would it be a viable option to use a file transcriber for these transcription hits and then listening and making any corrections that would need to be made? Just wondering if this would be faster than listening and typing all of the stuff out yourself.
The buzz came because people were seeing data go back to MS that was encrypted but nobody knew what it was, so that's what they reported. Then other people who knew less than them picked it up and said Oh MS is collecting data! Then people who knew less than them came along and said MS is spying on our data! Then...etc etc. It became a huge thing because people who didn't understand what was going on only knew packets went to microsoft, so it's bad! Now people have looked, the packet size is extremely tiny, unlikely to contain anything more than a datestamp or a counter. It supports the idea that they're tracking how often programs are used, or for how long, but not specifically what. Also, the cortana thing, everything you say to Siri/Google also goes back to Apple/Google servers and get stored to better enhance your speech patterns. Cortana just takes it one step further and analyzes your text as well to learn your typing/speaking patterns, what you say or type the most, and use that to better enhance your performance...Do we know that's *all* they do, no, but that's our best guess.
