Oh yeah. I'm surprised more don't. I mean its one of the first things I thought of when I saw the fact you could set up private quals and using masters cost more money then non masters. I mean they at least did it somewhat legitimate way by actual only qualing masters who also passed a certain test. But I mean you could set up a 0 cent hit that takes masters and upon doing that hit assign a qual to people and then let them do your hit that takes the qual but no masters. Yeah each person you qual cost .5 cents which means even if he only does 3 cents worth of work for you you've made out in the long run. I'm sure if someone was actually manipulating it to a high extent they might start caring and do something. Really though the money from mturk is just such a small part of Amazons portfolio I don't think they really know whats going on half the time.
IIRC, they opened the Qual back up because the hits weren't being completely in a timely manner - they had rejected for completing the hits in less than 20 seconds so people weren't working on them as much.

We saw this wasn't true when a banned worker got masters. Also given people have gotten it after long hiatuses for all we know someone could do like 5k hits in 2 weeks quit turk and end up with masters.
I'd completed like 100 hits in the past year, i'd give away my masters if I could. Well actually maybe I'll ask amazon to take if from me in hopes that'll open one up for someone.
Yeah. Though it seems they have stopped rejecting sent out an email and everything. I really hope it doesn't come around to bite me in the ass. I'm gonna start trusting him hamming up his batches and he is gonna mass reject me. But yeah the real reason is hits weren't getting done fast enough and they probably didn't see the value in doing another qual batch with masters. I mean it was weird they did it the first time since OCMP requiring masters is just so rare.
Heck even as a non master I wouldn't mind more master work being posted. The more work you guys have to do the less chance you'll need to do non master hits. I mean it doesn't help me as much as more non master hits posting but I would still be happy about it. If only that were true.
I don't trust em as much as I used to but they never mass rejected. Just random ones. They raised prices recently so I did a ton today and since the price hike. They are so mind numbingly boring but I 6 tab them and return anything related to a tool since I don't want to spend the time to figure out what it is since I probably wouldn't understand it anyway.
I love hearing people's theories of how masters qual is handed out. I especially love when there's a counter-example that disproves every theory that isn't "it's entirely random", as is always the case.
Nope no real mass rejects got 28 1 day but meh. But yeah I was doing them today 10 tabs didn't have to return many. The tools were mostly pretty simple things like ratchets. There were a few but not to many. Were you able to max out on them? Didn't get as many as I would have liked since they are so freaking boring and I ended up taking more breaks then I really should have also missed part of the batch at school.
No. I couldn't imagine maxing out on them. I did a little over 1000 before I couldn't stand it anymore. I still wouldn't know what a rachet does. Not a tool guy at all. Easier for me to return those. The jewelry ones are pretty subjective with the fine and not fine distinction or whatever it's called. I'm not too worried about rejection after there last email but ya never know.
Yeah the fine versus fashion was super annoying. Still not a hundred percent sure what the difference between them is. I was going precious metal or precious stones is fine and anything else was fashion but probably should ask about that. Almost positive they'll never respond but eh. Got about the same as me. I tried I knew I should have been able to do more but I just could not force myself to. I'd do like 3 captchas worth then need to take a break and then repeat. If I had a better work ethic I think today could have been a hundred dollar day.

You should have the qual. You're the kind of guy I could imagine actually being able to max out on these.
