Pretty sure you could probably talk your way into the qual with an email or two if you've done lots of stuff for them before.

And after the 1st one I do each time I'm sick of them.

My eye is always on scraper when I'm doing them looking for anything that comes remotely close to that money so I can stop doing them.

Twird: If it had gold or diamonds or something I put it as fine. If it didn't mention it I always use google shopping search,(they have everything with image) and if it cost more than 500 I put it as fine. Not that we'll ever know if that's correct.

 

You're also pointing out the extreme examples that don't make up the core of masters workers.

Problem is we really don't know what the core of the masters look like and how it compares to non masters. Sure they have technically been on mturk longer then non masters on average. I mean I'll admit they are better in the same way a random group of people selected amongst those who have been driving for over a month are probably better drivers then the set of all drivers but we have no idea by how much.

I mean there are something like 20k listed masters there are maybe something like 50 on this forum. Similarly there are 100s of thousands of mturkers and only a few hundred on this forum. If we actually wanted to test the quality of masters versus non masters we'd have to post a large batch requiring masters and a large batch requiring not masters and see the quality difference between those two batches. I'm guessing it would be tiny especially if you put on the not master batch 10k and 99% approved.

 

Cool pretty close to what I've been doing. Don't know if they have the same desire as OCMP5 but at least I wasn't crazy in my thinking. Still feels weird classifying a silver ring with cubic zirconian as the same category as a platinum ring with a pink diamond but what can you do.

I kind of almost wish I was in statistics now so I could at least try and get a grant to examine the difference in quality between masters and non masters.

It'd be cool if they ever approved Amazon to use those drones. It'd be even more cool to see how many people would shoot them down/ keep them for themselves
