Is anyone sure that these Freya hits are going to be approved or is this a sketchy requester? I've never worked with her before.
Praising is a bit of an overstatement. Taggered is an extremely mind numbing experience that you do when there are absolutely no other hits worth doing.
They're awful. Don't ask. LOL But really... if you search Taggered, you might come up with them. They're fast money, but it would literally drive me crazy. Haha
The reviews I'm reading say Freya likes to hit the reject button. about 50/50 I'd say. half say she is fair or good and the other half say Freya is overly capricious and rejects easily.
for what it's worth, i know in the batches i've done that she's approved i've put galleries as museums when they're supposed to be 'shopping', so i'm not sure if she's changed her approach or criteria but she seems fair so far
they just upload a batch of $1 hits that contain 170 questions. one question per page. they are really dumb questions sometimes like could this box of promotional mints be used as a congratulations.

ah ok i think those are the only ones i've screwed up that aren't due to ambiguity - ie, landmark vs cultural. it would help if her categories were a bit more distinct, but it's not all that bad
i notice that some hits pay very quickly after they approve, and others take forever. does the requester have to manually pay after approving, or does the pay begin transferring as soon as they approve?
It pends until Amazon's next round of updates come, within 2-10 hours. As soon as it says payment pending you're good.

Can somebody fill me in on the jargon here? What does "TO" mean, etc? Other resources? What should I read to get set and going well? So far just been working on anything I can find, haphazardly...
TO = turkopticon ( http://turkopticon.differenceengines.com/ ) which is a plugin/script people on mturk use in order to know which requesters can be vouched for via a ratings system. I'd keep an eye on this thread as well as http://www.reddit.com/r/HITsWorthTurkingFor/ the rest will come with time. just keep an eye out for requests that ask you to download something (an .exe file), give them your IP, things like that. edit: also other jargon such as MC (memory check), AC (attention check), and others will come to you as keep working. main one may be AC which is usually a question that's put there to make sure you're actually reading things (e.g. 'don't answer this question and select none of the above')
