CrowdFlower Was CrowdFlower a significant portion of the revenue for Mturk? I mean for the company Mturk. I'm hoping CrowdFlower leaving doesn't have a negative affect on Mturk itself. I figure those who were doing CrowdFlower as their primary source of income could follow them elsewhere if they so wish, but we can't forget that Amazon was getting 10% of the approved HITs Turkers did for CrowdFlower. Mturk is owned by Amazon, so it's not going insolvent anytime soon. edit: Also, their reasoning is hilarious. People that knew what they were doing pretty much avoided CF like the plague, so of course the work they got was going to be subpar- they were only getting work from people naive enough to work for Crowdflower.
I guess as long as Mturk isn't losing money by itself. But you need to factor in the individual revenue from the subsidiaries, not the parent company as a whole.
