I have decided to take a different turn for horror month. Watching a truly frightening film. "Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief"
A little nervous about how often they said it should take 20-30 minutes to complete. I went slow as possible and still finished in 11 minutes.
It's actually quite interesting. And brutally honest. I like the one guy that was a former member that reached the level where they reveal the secrets of Xenu to the members. He said that he read it and he said "What... The... Fuck? I'm all about the self help stuff but what is this shit?"

That is a really great documentary! It had me glued from beginning to end. I have an ex who was a Scientologist but I learned so much I didn't know in this film. Wow, is all I can say...
I'm wondering if the slowness is due to the sort of holiday Monday, my kids have that day off..I never got Columbus day off.
My kids aren't off this Monday but they are for the Monday on the 19th. The day is still early yet. Who knows what the day will bring.
I saw this recently. Sadly, it is not much different from many religions today. It's history is only recent enough for people to easily call bullshit on it. I don't find any of the "stories" of scientology any more bizarre and unbelievable than those of any other mainstream religion.
During the Summer when I had about 1,000 HITS I regularly hit my goal by 2:30pm. I am over 6,500 now and I struggle to make my petty goal by 10pm. Shit has gone to hell for me recently.
