I experienced a HIT today which I couldn't submit due to a problem, saw a tip (after it expired on me) on TO on how to submit it even with this error. Never knew, thought I'd share in case someone else ever has this problem.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this here but it looks like this is the place to go for visibility.. so here goes I recently discovered Mturk and had an idea for a request. I want to get 5-10 turkers to call a friend and sing him happy birthday. Obviously the turker could just dial *67 or block their call to protect their identity, but I am hesitant to just put my friend's number on the web. Is this a justifiable concern, and does anyone have any possible solutions to the problem? Thanks for the help!

I just have a search for the requester that runs every 10 minutes and dings if something shows up. Their batches seem to last a good while, so I've never used a real panda for it.
I wouldn't want someone putting my phone number where anyone could see it. You could get them to record the singing on vocaroo.com and e-mail your friend the links to listen to them but it's not quite the same.
would be fine. make sure to post the hit here first so we have dibs EDIT : you could set up a google voice number that gets forwarded to your friends number and have them just call the GV number
I'd probably give a qual to 5-10 workers that I trusted. I'm not one of them because I'd forget, but I'd go to bat for everybody else who posted.
