I find that searching for HITs on my own makes me more money than waiting for them to show up here. I am not saying you are doing this, simply pointing out that learning how to find HITs is the way to make the money.

I'm at almost $20 for the day and I haven't even really started. I've just been clicking every 20-30 minutes to see if something is up. I start my actual "work" day around 2 hours from now... I've only been turking for 24 days.
I like seeing when batches are up in this thread because it tells me to stop working on whatever else I am and get on the batches. Otherwise I spend a lot of time searching for hits for myself. If I just sat here and r/hwtf I would never make any money!

I beg to differ. XD I'd absolutely love it if someone who makes 20+ daily would kindly tell me, step by step play by play, exactly what they do. Example being, I do a search for X with Y and check ____ addon which you can get for ____ browser, etc. Then, I do HITs that pay ____ per minute. This is exactly how I find them: (insert here). If they don't appear for you, then _______ is why. So when I do X and Y and browse Z addon for these and do these by finding them (here - please detail), I win. Also, I don't have to spend 6-8+ hours on mturk to get this much, and this is why. But I digress. I might as well ask for unicorns farting rainbows while grumpy cat sits on my lap with a sudden expression of happy. XD Anywho. I'll second fourclub's statement. But I've come to find that I could potentially earn 10-15 daily, if I just hop on and go at it nonstop....for hours.
I used to think that too. I often wondered how people averaged $50 a day, but now I'm one of those people. It's all about experience, really. Optimize your profits on what you personally like to do. Some people do transcriptions while others focus on certain batches. Just gotta find your niche.
on OCMP, what do we do when the website goes to a completely diff business than they have listed? It would be a wrong address, but it's the wrong site too. I returned it but don't want to do that in the future.
Do the hits here, do the hits at r/hitsworth turking for. Search by newest hit and refresh it a lot. Use the golden requester list if you can't find anything. I don't have masters, I don't have TOTW, 10k hits, OCMP, or Two Lakes. I still manage to make more than $20 a day. Sure on batch days I make closer to 60 but it's all about searching out hits for yourself. If you wait for them to be posted / pop up they will be gone.
