I get that. Cheese was the hardest thing to take out of my diet. I still crave it from time to time. It honestly started because I watched Cowspiracy on Netflix lol. I had doubts for about a month into it but after WHO announced processed meats cause cancer I decided it's just much better to keep on going with it. My gf (who I live with) is vegan and has been for over a year so it was easy for me. I became vegan because I don't want to contribute to the destruction of the world anymore. The simple fact that a single fast food hamburger takes 1300-1500 gallons of water to produce is unfathomable. The cows pollute the oceans and air with their waste/gas and they cut down over 150 acres of rain forest every minute so they can farm soy for animal agriculture. There are a lot of other reasons too, but those are the big ones. I also like not having to kill things... If you had to go slaughter a pig to eat bacon I think you would think twice. I'd probably still eat cheese if my gf wasn't vegan and it agreed with me more though. I feel a lot healthier without it in my diet.
Someone gets it. Real food for real turkers. Probably cooked over a fire made from trees you planted and harvested yourself, too. #BAL4MTFPresident
your right on the money TurkingHard. I've always found it interesting, you ask someone why they're vegetarian or vegan...95% give articulate, well thought out, compassionate reasons. Ask a carnivore why they eat meat, "cuz it taste gooooood." lol. I don't have the wallet, time, or morals to give up meat yet, but hats off to anyone that does.
I eat meat to maintain my muscular physique But now I'm sitting here eating cookies because of you people
Doctor Name: Jane Miles Review: As an actual patient of Dr. Miles (not just the parent of a patient) I can tell you that Jane Miles is extremely cold and uncaring. Every appointment I go to consists of taking surveys and rating on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad I feel about myself and how much I want to die. She is extremely insensitive and clinical. Wait a sec. You pay him to answer surveys? That doesn't sound right.
Okay, to be fair I'll eat other kinds of baked snacks: pita chips, bagel chips, pretzel chips. I even like Sun Chips. But for some reason I don't like baked potato chips, they're just nasty.
Just liking something is also a valid reason for eating it though, you only live once. Even if it's not the most articulate reasoning it's good enough.
Whenever I poke my head in here, the conversations are simultaneously depressing and amusing. They're… depremusing, I guess?
You're right. Georges Laraque is a flabby weakling. Spoiler One of the best NHL fighters of the past twenty years. Vegan.
I love those vegetable chips, too. Man they don't look/sound at all like they'd be appetizing, but they're kind of delicious.
