Booked my vacation to California earlier today. Luckily there is a Taco Bell only 2-3 blocks away from where I'm staying. Wouldn't have to check out the local food spots
If there's a Del Taco around your vacation spot I would recommend checking them out. I miss them out here in Texas. They have amazing chicken. I almost always got some combination of their chicken quesadilla's, chicken soft tacos, and classic chicken burritos. They also had a taco Thursday deal where you could buy 3 chicken soft tacos for 2.09. Their regular beef is shit tier, but damn that chicken is legit.
LA, Santa Monica area. Friend is thinking about moving there, gonna check it out to get the lay of the land.
Speaking of Taco Bell, I encourage you all in joining me in my prayers to make the return of the chili cheese burrito a reality. They brought it back in 2014 for a brief stint but really all they did was twist the knife further when it went away again.
Oh, definitely some weirdos there but it will keep you entertained. Check out the pier, you can buy drugs, get your picture painted, eat fish tacos, ride a ferris wheel, dip your feet into the feces-laced oceanic water, submerge your bare feet into the ash tray glass filled beach sand, greet the homeless all in the same place. You may be able to hook up with Malibu Arby for a meet and greet. Nah, its not that bad. But expect everything to be ridiculously expensive in that area

I miss that so much, I would get it almost every time. Wish this taco bell would deliver, I can see it out of my window, they could walk it over you know.
