People turked, people lied, people exaggerated... no one died. Drama was started, repetitive questions were asked... survey content was disclosed... dem batchez were found, and TurkingBear finally gave in to his love for cardboard in a most unholy spectacle. Basically... take any week ever, rinse it... then put it on replay. Welcome to the mill.
Speaking of money, how much should I offer people who will be reading a 10-15k word script (the script itself will be longer, but for their parts it's only that much) and give their edits and opinions on it? I'm just trying to edit this script in a way so the characters seem believable and not fake or one sided. should i just make one flat payment hit or a lower paid hit with the chance of bonus? or other options? I already have one person for one part, but there will be eventually 5 routes so at least 5 people to review, one for each route.
If I were you, I'd just go to a forum where there are people that are already very interested in whatever the script is about and you can probably find people that will be very easy to work with since they will get something out of it too.
I'm a paleo bandwaggoner. Dropped 80 lbs on it, and my PCOS symptoms went bye bye, after almost 15 years worth of struggle, fighting, and meds. I do not have to take meds anymore at all. Also, there's a bunch of variations of it, so really, you just choose what you're comfortable with.

The reddit holier than thou paleo pisses me off... I find it amusing that rice is one of the most argued about topics as well. The rice most people eat in the usa is not the rice that is available in Asia so it's a moot point anyways.
I could probably write a script to do what's necessary for that...Once you click "accept hit", it'll automatically return it...Gonna be hell on your return rate though.
It wasn't directed at you as a whole. Im glad you lost weight and fixed your problems, i'm sure it feels fantastic. I was the same way (near diabetic/heart attack at 22, sob story blah blah blah) Just was poking fun, no need to get annoyed. Keep up the good work though!
Yeah I found a forum and they are really nice. I'll probably ask about it when the time comes, though that won't be until a month at least if it goes according to schedule. nono no voice acting whatsoever just a readthrough before i program it so i can change the dialogue to make it realistic. For example, a shy person would not greet a stranger so extrovertly. They will likely stutter and stuff like that.
Problem #1: Don't take /r/paleo serious. I got lucky and discovered paleo in a PCOS community prior to Reddit so I knew what was up and had guidelines before I ever set foot in there (don't even know if the community existed yet then). I do like some of the recipes. I HATE how they desert shame. If I wanna eat brownies, I'm gonna eat freakin' brownies. Also, I've seen the rice fight. As far as I'm concerned, the rule is if you can tolerate it, more power to you. They pull the same shit with dairy too. I just eye roll.
/R/Keto is just as bad. Then again, there are few /r/ that aren't just massive circle jerks and blind political correctness.
The dairy fight amuses me. I'm lactose intolerant, I eat rice sometimes, asian rice because it doesn't make me sick and actually has a little bit of protein. I eat deserts sometimes, so does my husband. It's really helped my Endometriosis so much... the first few weeks were hell but it got better and I feel more alive... Honestly any diet that gets people off of processed crap and makes them look at what they are putting into their bodies is likely a good thing.
I posted a recipe to /r/keto once. It used 1/4th a cup of onion (optional) in a 30 something cup recipe. Never again, never ever ever again. I do love how it's ok for people to post about their nitrate stuffed meat that has 2-3 carbs a serving but I post something with less than a carb a serving and get my ass chewed.
FTFY but seriously. Because it's such a specific community, expect to get the most extreme crazies out there. If you were interested in Christianity, sure you could probably get some good info at say Westboro Baptist, but you'd have to wade through the crazies to get it. The way I look at reddit in general: It's a good place to waste some time (read: oh god years of my life), it's a good place to get very specific answers to questions and very specific information about a topic, but it's still just people. Some have no clue what they're doing and talk out their ass, just like in real life. Just like in real life, get info from many sources. Just my "Copy Text from Business Cards" (get it...$.02...oscars...whatever I'm tired) tirade.
