The last paper I did for school was one where I was forced to pick apart the worst novel I have ever read (Some unknown author's creepy post-apocalyptic story about lesbian incest and ballet.) and it just made me never want to write anything that I didn't really, really want to write ever again.

You can't really get info about Christianity at Westboro Baptist. It's actually just one family with a horrible child abuse situation. All the theology comes from the Dad and he believes in a kind of Calvinism that other denominations dropped a couple of centuries ago. Hard core predestination. If the press would start ignoring them they'd stop bothering us. They only do it to get attention. You make a good point though. It's just your example I disagree with.
His anti-christian speeches say a lot about what some christians believe though... even if he is being negative about it. The guy reminds me of someone who spends too much time on 4chan learning about people to bash on them.

I'll grant you some horrible guys who have managed to gain a lot of supporters by preaching awful stuff but Westboro is literally one horrible abusive father and the children and grandchildren he has abused. It's about 30 people and they are all the same family. A few people have married in but there is no congregation. It's not a church.
