Can we speculate on what the maintenance is all about? Do you think they are finally taking it out of beta? Are the removing the terrible requesters that violate ToS? Are they putting up tasks to get Masters?!?!
Nah, all that stuff except the beta bit is stuff they can already do with their current system. This is either bigger than that or just some regular "something on the back-end stopped working so it's time for duct-tape-programming" stuff. Really hope it's bigger than that. I feel like we're unwanted step-children whose step-parent finally acknowledged that we have birthdays and maybe that means they're going to get us a present, or maybe they'll just say "hi, happy birthday" and that's it.
Sorry, I ran out of coffee I did notice the lack of fun and tried to edit my post into something that reflected my hopes and dreams. I want all the cool things out of this update.
Is it sad that I just assumed they didn't know how to deal with the clocks all changing and so they decided to turn the whole system off for an hour while the time change resolved? Otherwise someone could accept a two-minute task at 1:59 pm PDT and then turn it in at 1:01 PST and that would freak out some computer somewhere. Plus I don't think of Amazon as very good at the server stuff.
