I feel that you are probably overthinking these HITs. They are pretty quick and simple. I can do them in around 20 to 30 seconds.
I am down to 20/30 also. It helps that I do not know much of the stuff that they are studing..I can just look for the "abstract" and infer what it is about

Having a degree in Biology, I can fly through many of these. I just make sure it is/isn't free and can usually infer from the title. I did a few HITs yesterday to test the water, guess I'll go full force today.
