Just in general multiblocking people even if they have done hits for all the accounts I find as kind of messed up. I mean I haven't done John Smith Jr in over 2 months and I haven't done John Smiths in like a month and a half. I did do a Matt the first time they posted, normally do at least one hit for a requester just in case number of different requesters is the secret to masters, and for that he could have blocked me with 3 accounts since I've done work with all 3 accounts. That is unnecessarily punitive I mean being blocked from a requester if you've done nothing wrong because they are linked with another requester is just messed up. Though you are definitely right blocking someone who has never done a hit for you should just be straight up not allowed. If you want to prevent that person from working your hits because of previous things assign him a qual and don't allow people with that qual to work the hits.
This is awful. Seems short, but once you actually start doing it, it's very laggy. And even then, if you forget something (even 1 thing) they make you go back and re-learn it all over again. I'd do this if it paid more, but I just do not have the patience this morning.
I think this is a pretty good guess. My Matts said that they would be rejected for less than two minutes.
I don't think this is the case. I cooked all those hits just like I did with the John Smiths of old, of which I had over 2400 approvals and no issues whatsoever. Whoever is on his account is just a jerk. Anyone who's done his HITs, I'd suggest slamming his TO to save people the grief of their first hard block.
They trickle on and off at least for me. I have TM set for 15 sec when I can have my headphones on. This was to the question of mylikes.
When I finally got to it, I saw that it was asking for a code you would have received via email if you had won a lottery. So why doesn't it say that instead of "chose not to purchase the sunglasses"?
I do seem to remember somebody saying a few months ago that they periodically contacted Amazon to ask whether there were any hard blocks on their account and saying that Amazon always responded. I have contacted Amazon in the past and asked if it was alright for me to complete hits when abroad on trips (not moving abroad), they promptly responded that doing so would not raise any flags or put my account in jeopardy. If you are concerned, I don't see how it could hurt to send an email
Hi, everyone! My man made big social plans for us today and then was not well enough to do them, so I was up and at 'em early this morning. All dressed up with no place to go, literally. Oh well, the grocery store (after a change of clothes) was really quiet early on a Saturday. I don't generally turk on Saturday, but I think I'll give it a shot today. Seems like more fun than all the housework I should be doing.
I got a message saying I was lucky and won $1 during the previous survey and had the choice to keep the $1 or purchase sunglasses, could that be the lottery? I got no e-mail but I contacted the requester asking if putting my mTurk ID was ok. He said it is ok, he would check if I completed the survey.
grinding str11's for almost two hours with no break. Still at least 15 minutes left worth of work but I just can't do them anymore. Doubled my daily goal already though. What's for lunch?
I wish the timer on MyLikes wasn't so short. Sometimes I grab a bunch with Turkmaster and can't even finish them in time. My browser just froze up on me after I had 10+ in my queue and they all expired.
