I remember him! I did quite a few but I think some people still dream of him making a comeback. I think that, despite the number of crappy hits, our standards have gone up a bit. I doubt people would be as willing to sit and do his hits for hours on end now when there is other stuff up. Remember that Taggered requester who post like every Tuesday painfully boring $1 hits which would each take about 10 minutes (it was answering questions about crap promotional items - e.g., coffee cups with logos). They would have 10 hour timers or something so I could grab them on my phone while at work and do them at night. When i would start turking in the evening . . . everybody would be like "woohoo . . . I made $30 today . . . just did Taggered's all day . . . I am now brain dead and exhausted."
i do only the ones that are legible. But I think the unreadable one are eventually gathered together into new HITS, and someone will figure them out. It's time p9r, 411 and Ibotta got OCR readers. It would be cheaper for them.
Techlife IT. They were consistent and posted in the evenings when I was home from work. They were a secret batch for a long time before they got discovered. The only consolation was watching aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadam go batshit when people started talking about them on the forum. Then Amazon decided to kill the international requesters and they departed for points unknown.
They're starting to bring back some international workers. It's only fair they bring back international requesters as well. I hope they do in the future.
I miss the Australian requesters (like Techlife). Their morning is evening on the west coast so I was occasionally able to pick up fresh batches after I got home from work.

Just realized that with international requesters gone . . . that is possibly why Praveen has never been back (he is one of the few requesters I kept on Turk Alert). He would post the huge batches of tweets by subject (i.e., soccer batch, Olympic batch, Mars Rover batch). You would read the tweet and click yes or no if it was about the subject of the batch. 3 tweets per hit . . . the batches would last for about 2 days sometimes at $.10 each . . . he went qual and I got the qual . . . Probably my favorite requester ever
Yep. Batches are different. They are out in the open and the tasks are repetitive so discussing it is fine. Giphys are fun yes because it's gifs you are rating. G, PG, PG-13, R, NSFW. 2 clicks each HIT. I look at GIFs anyway for fun so getting paid is good. They are masters btw in case you didn't know.
Since I installed Hit Database, I have pink or green rectangle on every Available Hits page except the first. I know the rectangles mean Requester and Task. Anyone know why they're always missing from the first page? No light at the script author's page.
I think they are broken. I had Pinterest open in one tab (even pinned a few things to make sure) and I still would get the not logged in/unable to connect or whatever the message was (been about an hour since I tried)

Wondering the same. Has to be the first $10 HIT I've managed to get directly off scraper. And I have a 5 second auto-refresh and my reaction time was awful. Seems clear something must be wrong with it. Edit: well for one, each page is taking a minute to load.
