Right now in my house: 5th grade girl: YAY school tomorrow! 2nd grade boy: YAY school tomorrow! 8th grade boy: Nothing. (He's nonverbal) But I think he sort of gets that he goes back and I *think* he's happy about it lol 10th grade girl: Ugh. School. lol
My House: 6th grade girl: Eh, school tomorrow. 7th grade girl: Meh.... College freshman: Eh, school tomorrow. I still hate math.
I love Lou! I met him once while he was coaching at Carolina. He's about as tall as I am and he talked to me about his cats. It was adorable. You did better than I-I didn't even get dressed today. Unless pj's count as dressed.
My house is more Mom: Is this school year over yet? We are going on day 9 of school tomorrow and I am ready to be done. We already have homework and fundraisers and projects. My 4th grader is already crying over homework, I wish I could add no homework to her IEP, it would save us both a lot of stress.
Anyone got good totals today? Anyone hopeful tomorrow will be the greatest Money Monday ever ever? I did manage to get dressed today so I'm beating a few of you.. Sort of. I recycled my Bama Clothes from Saturday. But that doesn't make me lazy it makes me devoted, right? It's never the wrong day to ROLL TIDE!
Sorry for getting all up in your business, but you can probably get modified homework put in her IEP. Like 25% or something. I did for my IEP students. Why do a page of math and get frustrated when you can do 2 of each and just get the practice? You've got a lot of power. [back to lurking]
You might be able to add the option of only doing every other or every third problem on the homework to her IEP. We did that for my daughter with ADD, with the caveat that she had to have shown that she mastered the concept before skipping any questions. Being able to do every other problem, especially in math, really helped to alleviate her stress.
it will be the greatest money monday on a tuesday ever. I made 22 today in the first 2.5 hours I was up. Then nothing else.
We do have modified homework in her IEP but it was a no go on not at all. A lot of times we just turn it in incomplete and her resource room teacher finishes it with her instead. Thanks though.
I'd just like to point out for the record that you were just positively optimistic there. So now Virginia I do believe it will be the best Money Monday on a Tuesday ever.
It's bath day again. One day early because I'm spending tomorrow going to buy the rest of my books I need and then study my brain off for this ridiculous history quiz I have Wednesday. Colby and Jack are -almost- used to getting baths. But still, they're cats. I don't expect them to jump into the water. Babygirl is just a diva and refuses to sit in the water for more than ten seconds unless I use a really excited high pitched voice to tell her "It's okay! You're okay! You're gonna get a TREAT after this!"
