Is Mark taking both batches down? Or just the messed up one?

I am glad that you took the one batch down though mark because I could understand a couple blanks, but there were a lot!

 

A question...I came across a dentist who did not work at the dental address listed on the hit page. This was for the 5 cent website link hit. What should I have done with this? Should I have written a comment that the dentist does not work at that office.

Sorry I have not done these in awhile so I went blank when this happened. I just previewed the hit so I did not submit anything because I was confused by that.

 

I dont understand the question, but I will venture an answer:

If you found a dentist on the site (name matched) but the address didnt match (lets say different state) then its probably the wrong guy.

If you did not find the dentist on the site (name did not match), its probably a different guy, but be careful for cases where we have the provider as:

Dave W. Triston and they list themselves as: D. Wilson Triston. This would be close enough to assume its the same guy (or girl depending ).

Now if the address is different, it has to be "close enough". We consider "close enough" to be if the City and State are the same (zip may or maynot be considered) that it would be reasonable to assume it is the right person.

So if they are in, Alexandria, Louisiana, it should be the right guy. Sometimes cities are so big that they have multiple zip codes as I'm sure you're aware, so in some cases the zip will be the same and sometimes it will be different.

Allow me to explain with an example. I am just making up this example.

The hit page shows Dr. Mary Train. The address on the hit page is 145 Washington St Atlanta, GA plus zip code. I check the 2 links given on the hit page and cannot find a website for Dr. Mary Train. I then enter just 145 Washington St Atlanta, GA plus zip code within Google search and it pulls up a dental office at that address that is for Dr. Mark Green. Dr. Mary Train does not work at that office.

What do I do in that case?

 

You would N/A, if you don't find the dental office she works at because he wants the official website for the particular dentist in the Hit not for the address.

Well you should check the site to see if she is another provider. Sometimes the practice is under a different dentists name. Otherwise, if Mary isn't on the site, then n/a since we want the URL for the provider at a certain address.

i only got to do about 30 yesterday and a third of them were blank. what happened?

 

Still investigating on that. But I wanted to ask, the URL HIT for dentists, did anyone experience blank HITs on that?

I didn't. And I did several hundred of them.

I just hit one where there are two different sites for the same dentist at the same street address. That's kind of weird when a lot of these other dentists don't even have one site.
