Type of hit that I hate: I have no problem writing about myself. They ask a question, want a written reply. I answer honestly and briefly. "No good. Must be 250 characters." Now I can't be honest any more, because I've already given them all my thoughts. Bow they want meaningless B-S. I return the hit. Ticked off because I was doing well on it till now.
Had one like that recently. It asked me to explain how I made my choices. Replied, not long enough. Padded it out some, still not long enough. I ended up going back to my initial very short explanation then adding several sentences about how simple explanations can be expressed in a small number of words and that forcing them to be longer just obscures that simplicity for no good reason. It approved.
I'm back, gotta hit my daily goal. I do better when I relax for a while doing something else to break up the work. I can't believe that in college I studied for 4 or 6 hours after a 8-hour day. I wouldn't recognize that person. That's good, but I wonder how many requ will accept it. I'll give it ago and let you know. If it doesn't work, I'll get Ben Solo to cut off your hand.
Tell me if anyone else has this problem. I don't have enough history with Chrome to troubleshoot it, but now it's happening in FF too. Neither HitFinder, the beta or the one in the Suite, will work if I log in the old site. I get MT's homepage instead. Both will function if I log on to the new site. This is recent, and it's true of Firefox too. I wonder if they're slowly closing the old site down. I know the developer of the MT Suite, Kadauchi, has a forum for questions, but I don't remember where it is.
