Next door decorated their house with Christmas lights. It's nice to see colorful lights again.
Makes me feel like putting up the but the work involved to put it up is what is stopping me. If I get some help, just maybe...
I finished the tree, then made velveeta and rotel dip and the bacon wrapped smokies.
Coinhive actually isn't mining bitcoin, for those interested. Bitcoin is way too hard to mine with a CPU. I can't remember the actual coin it mines, but it's easier to mine with a CPU. I've let them know that the API key that's been put on our site is a hack, and not owned by us, so they should be deactivating it, however there's no way to verify it from our end.
How did the bacon wrapped smokies come out? I'll have to try that. Did you use little hot dogs?
Wouldn't that allow it to work from the site? Typically if you white list something you allow it.
Like Jenni says, there's no instructions. Yeah you're right. We should be doing the opposite.
Everyone liked them. I used beef cocktail smokies.
I have decided cocktails begin at 7pm tonight. It's ok if you already started.
*Cocktails meaning whatever you usually drink, not smokies, but cocktails sounds prettier to say than beer/cheap wine etc.*
Oops, I started early. Having a G&T.
haha had to show my son, cute!
I'm bored. Nothing on tv.
How about Wallander in Netflix?
That sure is weird. :disturbed:
I don't have Netflix.
Sorry for the late reply. But basically it's the same concept of the money you get on Amazon. Who says that it has value? The bank. But why does it have value? Because someone will accept it as currency. Technically it's called Fiat Currency since we moved off the gold standard.
So crypto-currency kinda works in the same way. (As I understand it) they find specific coding that is a singular unique string and it represents something similar to the way we label our currency (I.e the serial number of the bills you take from the bank) and so there can only exist so many of these strings, therefore it (theorectically) should be more stable because it's like the gold standard where you have something real and measurable to compare the currency with.
The problem with our Fiat Currency is that what measures an economy? GDP? Growth? That's the problem I have with the stock market as well. It's all just a game of perception. It has nothing to do with real growth and actual investment in our country. It's all just a measure of how well people "think" you're doing. And as we've seen alot of it is gambling with our lives by the ultra-rich because they've run out of things to buy. That's why i'm so upset about the 2008 collapse is because it's not the general consumers fault that Fiat currency creates continuous inflation and that companies/investors play games with money which they are then NOT held responsible for. To top it off, they were given a nearly INTEREST FREE loan from the government while I get screwed at 6.8% for student loans????
So for me, if they want to switch to bitcoin or something to undermine the Federal Reserve (which in my opinion is unconstitutional) I'm ok with it. I mean we're one of like three nations in the WORLD with no direct control over our internal monetary policy. It's a joke.
That didn't help me understand it any better.
Maybe this will help.
Also from this website : https://www.bitcoinmining.com/
With Bitcoin, miners use special software to solve math problems and are issued a certain number of bitcoins in exchange. This provides a smart way to issue the currency and also creates an incentive for more people to mine.
