Lol that's another point, if they implemented the ability for requesters to assign hits they would have to expand the que

There was an update on it a few hours ago. Wonder if something got messed up.

Probably. I uninstalled/reinstalled. still not working right. I can use Hit Catcher instead, but that talking voice every time it grabs a hit is super annoying.

Just discovered by blind luck that a requester left a feedback comment for me when approving the HIT. There is absolutely no indication in the list of HITs that there is something to be seen by expanding the details.

Mturk may as well just remove that capability then. The likelihood of anyone seeing the feedback on a non-rejected HIT has dropped from very unlikely to astronomically unlikely.

Weird, I haven't experienced that yet. Maybe you have a panda or panda crazy running in another tab?

Definitely not. It's not pulling hits while its not running anymore, but if I turn it on and it catches something there is no indication of it: no sound, hit count stays at zero, I just suddenly will have hits in my queue.

Has anyone else gotten e-mails from Amazon Payments asking for verification? I verified my identity years ago and have used Amazon Payments for years with no issues. Now, I get two e-mails today asking to verify my e-mail address and ID again. Thing is, I am still able to withdraw from my Mturk account to my Payments account to my bank account just fine.

There is a 0.5.7 now available that is supposed to fix the no notification thing. Haven't tested it yet.

Apparently mturk changed something so PC wasn't recognizing it had caught the HIT. I think that will be an issue for a lot of scripts in the coming weeks -- scripts can be highly sensitive to small changes in wording or html formatting like that -- and Amazon is clearly still making small changes.

As to it catching things when not running, maybe that was my error. I am pretty damn sure it wasn't running but I've only been using PC for 2 days now, so it is possible I was wrong.

Edit: it just accepted a HIT and I got notified, so the fix worked

I did, yes. It freaked me out. But it was essentially at the same time when I made a transfer, so I figured it was a thing/hiccup. I definitely didn't like the "your new account has been verified" though. Girl, I've been here since 2014.

I'm thinking it's just a transition thing with mturk.
