Has anyone had a Payments transfer go thru in less than a day? Is Amazon holding the money for a time on purpose? Like a bank would, in order to use it. Or is this just Amazon again messing around? So it seems like turkers aren't the only people that Amazon ignores. Merchants who sell on Amazon complain about never being able to get anything resolved and that they can have their accounts shut down for vague reasons and that it's very hard to fight to get their accounts back. Sounds all too familiar. So, Amazon is trying something new. For the low low price of $400 a month they can join Sellers Support plus where they can " escalate important issues to your Seller Success Manager for advanced troubleshooting and time-critical resolutions" So essentially Amazon is charging sellers to have access to a customer service person. I generally do my sundries shopping online from Walmart, not that I don't take advantage of Amazon when I can, but Walmart is often cheaper and ships faster and shipping( for everything) is always free(with a 50.00 sale). No huge Prime price. I noticed some time ago Amazon tends to follow Walmart's price reductions. Walmart uses better shipping boxes, too.....I think Walmart already knows it can be sued. Amazon seems to believe that it is immune to everything and can do as it pleases. Maniacle Turk is the obvious painful example.
I would think this is targeted at some of their larger merchants. They have some sellers who do millions in sales annually, so this would probably be worth it to them. Obviously Amazon should already include this for free with all of their fees, but you gotta wring out every last dime :rolleyes: I've noticed this also. Most prices are the same now right down to the last penny. There was a time when Amazon was the cheapest but those days are long gone. I usually buy from Walmart now and even signed up for their shipping pass thing. Walmart uses FedEx for everything which is better than whatever Amazon decides to do. Walmart has a few warehouses near me so more often than not if I order something in the morning I get it delivered the next day. Amazon was never that good to me when I had Prime.
Someone talk to me about prepaid cards. If i go to walmart and buy one, does it come with the routing number, to so I can transfer my mturk earnings to it today? My debit card number was stolen, most of my money was wiped out, and my debit and credit cards are both frozen (because I'm assuming it was skimmed at a gas station and I use both cards at the 2 gas stations I typically go to.)
