I use the site somewhat but I don't make as much money as on Turk. They have surveys as well but I screen out way more surveys there then on here.
Just finished Mease hits finally! That put me at $29 for the day, most I have ever earned in one day. :rockon:

My brother lived in Scarborough for awhile about 15 years ago. I live in the Downeast coastal town of Milbridge. I get to see the ocean every time I drive to town. Love it!! I am about 45min from Acadia National Park. Edit: I see you live in Colorado now. That's a long way from Maine. I grew up in Michigan, but we have always had family in the area and my father was born here.

I do appreciate that I grew up in Maine - people are simple, life is pure and honest. But in my 20s I decide to roam the world, Miami, Boston, NY, now I'm in Colorado which has all been an experience and made me appreciate my roots in Maine all the more

Hello, I am a kinda new on the forum. I had signed up a looong time ago and then completely forgot about it until last month and then was a lurker for a few days. Sorry about that. I appreciate all the hard work that you guys do in posting the hits. It has helped me tremendously over the past few days and I have learnt so much. Hoping to contribute from my end soon.
Yeah a few days ago they posted a $300 hit when it was dry on turk so I wrote to the company to see if I could get in on it. I'm going to keep writing every week It can't hurt.
Yeah Maine is great "life in the slow lane" lol. Wow you have really traveled. I grew up in Michigan, was born in Mass, and have family near Boston and on Cape Cod. My father was born in Maine, the next town over and always wanted to live here, so in 1983, he got a job here and we headed east.
I once had a requester offer to set up a series of HITs/batches like this for me. He had liked my performance on a giant 1 cent batch he had up, and offered to transfer some of the work to me exclusively. He did actually put up a test batch for me, but the task turned out to be so different from the task he originally described that I had to tell him that I'd lost interest in the work. I haven't done anything for him since or had any other offers. At least a couple other people here have arrangement like this, though. Razor is the most well-known, I suppose.
I think some of those big paying hits might be bonuses people have won from other hits. There was a hit I did the other day where you had a chance of winning a $300 bonus.
I have a list of requesters to email the next time I have the day free to focus on my turking. I don't need $300 HITS every other day but a qual or two wouldn't hurt (I'm lookin' at you Two Lakes).
