I worked at their HQ in 2010 and they didn't give even the slighted impression that they wanted any raise in minimum wage. I could see them paying lip service as a push-back against unions. When I was there, if you said the word union, people ducked like machine guns would suddenly extend out from over the servers and start firing in all directions. You were safer calling Jesus a nasty name and talking about how you'd just drop kicked ophans into the river for fun. That was one freaky place. It runs like a cult with all these special words that you have to use, other words that aren't allowed EVER. I even had to provide my own paper, pens and paper clips because they didn't want to pamper the contractors by providing office supplies (even though my job required about 25 paper clips per day because staples were verboten)
Walmart was my second job ever when I was 17 and all they kept pushing on us was that unions were evil and they were God, then I quit to go to an OK GO concert on Black Friday because I was 17.

went to bed at 11, woke up at 3 because my dog wanted to potty. not feeling great. Get on Mturk, and do 170 fanpops and start the day at about 6.00. So I'm comfortable going to sleep for a little bit now. Also in the process, I was watching Dr Phil. I don't normally watch that ****, but they had the first victim of Ariel Castro on there, and she was telling her story. I only got to the "so far in the first eight months.." part before I had to turn it off. I didn't need to hear about the other 10 and a half years of that poor girl's torment. Also, I got the sense had she been smarter she would have never been captured.
I need there to either be an amazing batch or I need it to be 4am so I can go bug my old coworkers at Dunkins. Chances are that will coincide at the same time.

Define "went through" though. I got an order confirmation, but there's still processing to go through. That's what happened with Staples, too, they sent out order confirmations and then stopped the orders at the processing phase. Hope you did get those monitors though. It'd be sweet.
