I dont like consoles but I'm seriously considering a PS4 just for No Man's Sky. Why they went console instead of PC I have no Idea but the game looks amazing...if it ever gets released

My uncle bought it like a day after release, and I caught him playing it. I fell so in love with the game that I pretty much bargained him out of his account lol.
It's pretty much a solo game anymore because the fanbase has died off within these last few years

I vote Sid Meier's Civilization 1 as best PC game to date

 

It's coming to PC, PS4 is only exclusive for a certain amount of time.

 

Jump into GW2. That's where all the fans are.

But nah I hear ya. I like everything about GW except the whole solo/instancing feel.

 

I've heard great things about the pvp in that game but I've never tried 1 or 2.

 

I tried it for about an hour and never logged back in. I don't like the approach they have with that game. It feels too much like WoW or the Everquest games and imo strayed way off what the original was like.

1 is still pretty active but you won't find a group as easily as you would have just 2 years ago. 1 has more of a solo vibe to it while 2 seems to be more MMO based.
1 definitely has the better story line

 

I feel for the new generation who has no interest in computer history...no keygens or any of that

Also Return To Castle Wolfenstein was great too...

 

Oh lawd it's nothing like Everquest (well, EQ2 anyway lol). That's partly what turned me off from it. It eliminated the whole quest model and took on the Rift-style "dynamic events" thing. That gets old after a while, really. Kind of just wandering around empty zones waiting for shit to pop off, basically.

The WvW used to be really, really fun, though. Now it's kind of dead since the new expansion changed the layout and gameplay in those zones.

 

For MMOs I'm mostly invested in Blade and Soul until Legion sucks me back into the crack.

 

I've been hopping between EQ2 and GW for years. Sometimes I wish there was something similar to the EQ2 raids in GW (the challenge dungeons in Factions are as close as you can get), but at the same time, I hated getting bitched at over teamspeak for not triggering the right heal lol

 

My guess is 6 comes out this year. I'm so psyched about it. Probably gonna be amazing. They've been working on it for a long time now. Too bad they still haven't announced a release date. Have you played rising tide? I was thinking about getting it.. but not sure.

P.S. - You guys are distracting me from work

 

Sackler Institute, two masters HITs. The bee one is awful, the other one is okay. Pay is decent for both.

Bought Rising Tide and only played a few hours but it seemed to improve on beyond earth, but overall I feel like it was a failed project (Beyond Earth) but Civ 6 will be here by the end of the year. I'm going to guess 6 months after Xcom 2 releases.

 

no FFXIV fans, its a really solid MMO.

 

I played it for awhile, I was actually in Elysium before I quit shortly after the expansion.
