You filthy casuals are all wrong, wrong, wrong! Sid Meier's "Alpha Centauri"/"Alien Crossfire" is #1 of all time! OF ALL TIME!!!
Yeah I seem to love punishing games. I really loved when it took you a day of grinding to get a level, and you start exploring some place you should not be (that took a hour to get to) and you de-level. Man the best, a whole day wasted!

If there was new Alpha Centauri coming out, I would renounce all ties to civilization to devote my life to playing it. Imagine ultra-high-res gfx, smooth animations, actual AI behind opponents... *drooooools*
LOL Blackburrow was a pain in the ass. Felt like the respawn timers were always too short and gnolls would just pop out of nowhere all the time. Stormhold pissed me off - especially with those damn skellies cackling while murdering you. Another super hard dungeon was Nek Castle. Probably because you could be there for like 4 hours on a good run waiting for Billy and other necessary spawns that took their sweet time. I should start up my membership again so I can jump back into the time-locked server. Speaking of the feels, I get stupid emotional hearing this: And here's Antonica - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV360NGEihM

I never got a chance to play them when I was younger but I do have some of them on my steam account I want to tackle one day.

Square always does a good job with sound tracks for their games.
I have a few friends who still play and showed me screenshots of them on the original noob island for the good side. That's nearly enough nostalgia to make me play again. I'm guessing this server you speak of involves that? The antonica music is <3 You definitely should. DS3 was my favorite. It's a shame obsidian didn't continue past the 3rd one but pillars of eternity looks awesome

I haven't finished PoE yet but so far it's the closest game to Neverwinter Nights I've played, and I really loved that series.
And baldurs gate. How the hell have we not had these conversations before? I never realized how many interests us forum members share lol
I don't think Pedro set that batch up correctly. You could pick that the article needed some proofreading but then it submitted and there was no options for what needed fixed or a box to type in the mistakes. So he pretty much was paying .28 a pop for people to tell him it needed proof reading but then he has to figure out what is wrong.
