Yeah, I don't know if I believe that people would actually quit without it... I wonder if he interviewed anyone. That being said, I am consistently surprised at how much emphasis people place on TO and/or the reviews. There was someone here the other day who has come on multiple times asking for help with fixing hit scraper but didn't seem interested in disabling TO which seemed to be the culprit. Or something.
Yeah but that was the guy that comes on once a month to complain that he only makes $1 a day with masters because nobody shares his here anymore. He was just trolling. I agree about TO though, it's a good resource for newbs but I certainly wouldnt want to use scraper with it.
I don't trust the pay ratings, but I use TO a lot for time estimates and rejection/block reports. The pay ratings are all over the place so they're not as useful to me.
I think some people avoid requesters completely if they have no TO which is I think what surprises me the most. Rejection/blocks/time estimates are definitely a plus.
He is really still whining about people asking him to actually pay them. This dude needs to find a hobby. Maybe he could do some of that work that he was paying $0.00 for on Mturk.
