I told my daughter that if she didn't learn to be faster, either she had to cut her hair short (not going to happen), or I threatened to stand next to the shower and wash her hair for her everyday - that killed her, she didn't want me to be in there with her so she figured out how to speed up. Now that they're older if they get bad I just tell them I'll turn the water off no matter if they're still soaped up or not. Geez, I sound kinda mean? But come on, water is expensive down here.
Yeah probably. Somethings gotta change. I wake her up an hour and a half before getting on the bus, and she is still rushing around.
The first month we moved into this house our water bill was $350 - for the month! Turns out there was a leak in the underground sprinklers, but still - it's crazy expensive here.
why you guys not letting your kids take long showers, what is the issue, I don't get it. I always take very long shower. Always have and always will.
Or when you get the water bill for a house with 6 people. One month I put it on the fridge so all the kids could see it. My problem water waster got better after that.
