I'm sure Goku understands that the word Blue doesn't fit in with the title's letters that starts with S.
I've had hitscraper for a good while now, but I never truly figured out how to use it. I basically choose the green hits with high TO pay. Can someone point me in the right direction of how to use it?
The tutorial on YouTube is best. It's by Tjololo
if anyone's here that's had their account suspended before (and ideally got it resolved) I'd greatly appreciate a PM hearing your story. edit: Shit, even someone's success of actually getting a mTurk person on the phone. Called 3x so far, each time "we have no one in that department that can help through call. You can submit an email form." Went from suspended to terminated this morning. Close to $400 "forfeited".
I spent months trying to get mine resolved about 3 years ago. The best I could get them to do was temporarily unsuspend my account so that I could pull the rest of my money out. Set up a new account last month and it immediately became suspended because of tax information. I called and explained my situation and they gave me access back to my account.
98% Slave labor wages? No way to readily contact? The illegality of it doesn't surprise me. It's all good working in your pajamas, your own hours, your own location...until one day it isn't.
Fairly certain that's a pretty common disclosure to see in a work platform's TOS. Blah blah we can terminate at any time blah blah. Legality - I suppose their defense is you agreed to it when you signed up. Not sure if anyone's successfully gone to court over that and won (the expense just doesn't seem worth it but who knows).
im not concerned with the termination, just the "forfeiture" of his money. he earned it, its his. its like getting fired from your job, and them refusing to give you your last paycheck.
That's what I was talking about. If the forfeiture is buried in their Participation Agreement somewhere, which I believe it might be, then at least one of their defenses is "Hey he agreed to it when he signed up."
