Why do you say that? They don't need to find the best they just need the average master to be better then the average non master so it is not false advertising when they say choosing non masters will lead to a decrease in quality. The system has its purpose it makes Amazon more money per hit done.
You are needed too! I'm just think out loud here and guessing they want a representation of the population as a whole. If that's true, that will be tougher for you because you will face more competition (given your age and location). I could be wrong!
I think it's demos partially but mostly skill. Not a true test, but they want people that can do category type hits. They are adamant about it being categorization masters. I got flustered around 70k when I still didn't have it so I made it a point to just do stupid venues all day and anything that I could do which AR-WA monitored. I'm of the camp that it's not random and not luck at all. I think they do it on your quality. But the problem is they aren't reviewing everything, only some things. I think someone like twirdman doesn't have it because they aren't reviewing OCMP batches or things like that. They are monitoring shitty hits that have to do with categorizing stuff which is exactly what venue quality is and social photo. But everyone has opinions, who knows who's right.
How many were in this latest batch, and were they $0.05? Social Photos had 100 and 0.05 a pop when they posted late last year.

Ya, I think it was..(?) The creativity part was just writing a headline for a news story. Most of the hit was about risky behavior and gambles.
I agree with you. I'll give an example. I won't touch those Masters barcode HITs with a ten foot pole. Sure, I'm aware that a lot of people with Masters do them, make good money from them, and don't have their Masters revoked. With that being said, there was just too much stuff being said about them. One little honest mistake could result in some pretty bad repercussions. Admittedly, though, I'm a scaredy cat.
I did do the AmTurk beauty ones last summer. I have been on a break for a while since then. Logged in today to do a long term follow up survey and a random pick fu.
I probably did venues whenever they were up for a month before I got it. I also kept AR-WA on page monitor (before turkmaster existed) and did what I could from that. I got Masters at 80k but a lot of that early stuff was qualled batches and surveys. Stuff that amazon is unlikely to review. Maybe it was coincidence, maybe not. But I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a quality assessment. Of course I can't prove it but I don't believe it's at all random.
It's clear from the forum that it does nab the best of the best is all I meant. It has to be designed to catch those people and it does.

Agree with everything he said. Been turking since 2007. Hit almost 300k before I got Masters. Only thing I did different before getting it was VQ.
Ahh - after double checking my lonely email box, I sped read through the forum, hoping Twirdman and Faithers would get it - sorry guys. I guess we can hope that they'll pick up the pace a little and add masters more then once every 4 months.
